The Olympics are here and the world is watching with bated breath as each country fights for its place in the games. These games are a symbol of true athleticism and competition. Each country fuses together to bring home as many medals as possible for their nation.

As the games have been approaching over the past month, I have enjoyed viewing the anticipation of the Olympics in the media and the people around me. Everyone seems to be focused on the games and becoming actively involved. People are wearing Olympic shirts, Project Runway had an entire challenge focused on Olympian wear, and people are sitting around the television late into the night watching sports they never would normally watch. What is it about the games that grip the heart of the world?
