seriously gorgeous.

here is the epic wedding dave and i went to on july 4th. after attending, i don't think anything could ever match it. dave's cousin and husband (who happens to be an ex-polo stylist) threw the perfect party and most romantic day. i brought home a few pictures to share but beware, they do not do the day justice.

the wedding ceremony was short and beautiful. we listened to friends of the couple sing and connie walked down the aisle to andrea bocelli. she had a cute veil that looked like a giant bow on her head. usually i am not into puffy dresses but her's was beautiful.

the ceremony was held in a nearby white tent. i thought these white lanterns lended a cool modern twist to the otherwise romantic decor.
these were the table settings. everyone had a menu at their spot, along with dipping sauces for bread. the food was served family style and included lots of pasta, meats, and a delicious asparagus risotto.

this was my favorite part of the dinner. it was an orange fennel arugula salad with a soury sweet dressing (no idea what kind). it was definitely unexpected and, since it was such a warm night, the perfect treat.

they also had a 30 minute firework display, fresh fried dough balls, amazing bathroom in a trailer (i am telling you, they were cool), and hors d'oeuvres i couldn't stop eating...i will tell you more about that tomorrow.
